Drew Barrymore renovated a historic six-bedroom Westchester County estate she bought in 2024 and is now listing it for $4.99 million.

The nearly 12-acre property has plenty of countryside tranquility, though it’s located just 30 miles from Manhattan.

Barrymore preserved the home’s 1747 charm during her renovation while infusing it with her signature warmth.

Drew Barrymore seemingly does it all: She’s an actress, talk show host, HomeGoods enthusiast, and, most recently, a home renovator. In 2024, the E.T. star reportedly picked up a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate in New York’s Westchester County, and spent the subsequent years giving it a well-deserved glow-up. She reportedly added plumbing, heating, and air conditioning—and joked to the Wall Street Journal she was like Shelley Long’s character in The Money Pit. Now, she’s putting her beloved project on the market for $4.99 million.

Nestled in Harrison, an upscale neighborhood about 30 miles away from midtown Manhattan, the nearly 12-acre property offers the serenity of the countryside with easy access to the city. The residence dates back to 1747, but leave it to Drew to infuse the home with her joyful spirit.

“Drew’s renovation here is respectful and authentic,” says Brian K. Lewis, who is listing the property alongside fellow Compass agent Kori Sassower. “She amplifies the unique beauty of each room and space, creating moments that resonate and tell a beautiful, magical story.”

As Lewis tells House Beautiful, the actress transformed this home into something remarkable. “Drew brings out the love in everyone she meets and in every place she lives,” he shares. “Her gift is meeting people and places exactly where they are, and giving them the space to shine and come to life.” Translation? It’s bound to be scooped up fast. Before it does, we’re giving you an intimate look at Barrymore’s time-honored home.
