1 min readLeonardo DiCaprio is selling the Los Feliz property he bought for his father for a reported $5.75 million—$800,000 more than he paid for it in 2018.
The 4,644-square-foot house—which is currently listed by Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland—was originally built in 1925 and has a total of five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The property has a gated entrance and hedges around its perimeter for an extra layer of privacy. The dwelling—which has a formal dining area, a family room, and a large outdoor living area situated by a pool and spa—boasts high ceilings and Tudor-style architectural details that have been updated to have a modern flair. Additional amenities include a culinary-style eat-in kitchen, three fireplaces, and a terrace. One of the rooms also features a loft, a study, and a dedicated space for yoga.
Dirt reports that last May, DiCaprio bought his father another home in the same area for $7.1 million. Previously owned by Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the 4,926-square-foot abode is a bit smaller than the last—but it does have some stunning features, including a foyer with terra-cotta tile floors and a beautiful winding staircase.
