Themes we loved included feathers, whimsy, and monochrome.
The Academy Awards might be the film industry’s biggest night, but the fashion is always front and center. The Oscars’ red carpet is nearly as anticipated as the Best Picture winner, and this year the A-listers arrived in full force with era-defining, thematic styles inspired by the year’s most influential films.

We couldn’t stop thinking about how closely some of our favorite outfits resemble our favorite interiors, so we dove into our archives to pair the best looks of the evening with equally stunning interiors.
From Demi Moore’s fabulous feathers to Michael B. Jordan’s gilded accents, we’re reimagining the Oscars’ best-dressed stars as rooms from the most celebrated interior designers.
