Diane Keaton’s personal collection—including art, fashion, and film memorabilia—will be auctioned in a four-part sale across New York and Los Angeles.

Titled The Architecture of an Icon, the series features iconic items like Annie Hall scripts, designer hats, and Keaton’s own mixed-media artwork.

The auctions celebrate Keaton’s multifaceted legacy as an actress, director, and creative visionary.

There’s so much we’ll always love about Diane Keaton, from the iconic characters she played to her avant-garde fashion sense to her passion for art. And soon, you may be able to own a piece of her legacy.

A selection of the late actress’s personal collections—including artwork, clothing, and film memorabilia—will be offered at auction later this summer. Titled Diane Keaton: The Architecture of an Icon, the series will be hosted by Bonhams in collaboration with The Fine Art Group. Items from the star’s estate will be divided into four sales, with two taking place in New York and two in Los Angeles this May and June.

Keaton, who passed in October 2025, was known for her passion across art forms, growing her acting career into a director’s role and famously creating art as a creative outlet.

Buyers will have the opportunity to purchase original scripts and production materials from Keaton’s greatest works, including The Godfather trilogy and Annie Hall, for which Keaton won the 1978 Academy Award for Best Actress. Offerings are also rumored to include pieces from her extensive hat collection, with Ralph Lauren, Gucci, and Comme des Garçons labels, and, perhaps the most impressive of all, over 20 mixed-media, collage-style art pieces, crafted by Keaton herself.

“Few individuals possess the rare ability to move between disciplines while maintaining a singular and unmistakable point of view. My sister, Diane, was one such person. To speak of her is to speak of instinct, an unerring visual and creative intuition that guided her across decades of artistic exploration. It is a privilege to introduce this collection and Diane's personal world to you, which reflects not only a lifetime of looking, but a lifetime of truly seeing,” Dorrie Hall, Keaton's sister, said in a press release.

The three online auctions will run concurrently with the in-person bidding, each focused on a different one of Keaton’s passions, spanning interior design, decorative arts, and high fashion.

"Diane Keaton was a force in American culture, whose influence as an actress, filmmaker, author, and tastemaker touched generations and continues to resonate today,” said Lilly Chan, Bonhams United States Managing Director, in the press release. “We are committed to ensuring that Keaton's legacy—her creativity, her wit, and her eye for design—is celebrated and preserved for the collectors and admirers who will carry it forward."
