In between flipping homes and revitalizing towns, many HGTV stars are devoted pet parents. Not only have they shown kindness by bringing animals into their homes, but doing so has also made them even better at designing everything from pet furniture collections to deluxe built-ins.

Christina Haack’s French bulldog, Cash, came into her life as a puppy in 2017. Since then, they’ve gone on many adventures. Once, the Christina on the Coast star took Cash to an animal empath, which now seems like a tell-tale sign the pup knew Christina’s now-ex-husband Josh was not the one.
Married to Real Estate stars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson welcomed their labradoodle, Serene, into their family in 2022. Even though the couple constantly has bed sheets in the wash because of Serene, the cuteness overload and good company make up for it.

Although the labs, Finn and Annie, are what the couple affectionately calls "hunting school dropouts," they're still very good pups. The Great Pyrenees, Baker, is named after another one of the family's beloved dogs that passed away.
Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel recently grew their family by not one but three cats. There’s Poppy, “the precarious one;” Pickle, “the cute and cautious one;” and Dove, “the queen and she knows it,” the Property Brothers star explained in a video.
HGTV alums Chip and Joanna Gaines have more dogs than children. Chip brought home their sixth dog, an English Mastiff, in 2019. Later, in 2023, Chip posted a photo featuring two of their dogs on a porch; however, fans expressed concern as one of their kids was seen sitting on one of the dogs. Despite this minor controversy, the Gaines family is known for their love of animals—their farm is home to goats, chickens, horses, cows, and others.
