When you think of Moroccan decor, you might think "Whoa, way too much for my house." We get it — subtlety is not generally associated with the style, but it can be as out-there or as understated as you want it to be. Whether you want layers upon layers of color or something more neutral, let these Moroccan-inspired rooms take you there. (We can't be held responsible if you impulse order a pouf — or five — after seeing these).

You Need A Pouf, Obvi.

Let's put it all out there: You probably already have a pouf somewhere in your house, even if you don't mean for it to be Moroccan. No shame, but here's how you can really make it work with a theme. Skip the end-of-bed bench or footboard and opt for two poufs. Add a woven pendant and some textured pillows and you're golden.
Want to really warm up your space? A rug is good, but don't stop at one when you could have three. Layer rugs of varying textures, patterns, and colors for a cool, eclectic, Moroccan vibe. Then go ahead, add your poufs.
Think red, white, and blue feels too patriotic? Not when it's paired with geometric lamps and a neutral, trellis rug.
