When one of our favorite tastemakers drops a new collection of sure-to-sell-out furniture, we’re quite literally all over it. The tastemaker in question? Multi-hyphenate Drew Barrymore, who, as of this week, dropped nearly 10 living room essentials under her appropriately named brand, Beautiful. All of the pieces, which include a lounge chair, multiple side tables, and a TV stand, among others, are available exclusively at Walmart, so you already know the prices are going to be budget-friendly.
In fact, nothing—not even the modular sectional—is more than $1,000. Prices start at less than $100, so if you’re in the market to redo your living space but don’t want to spend too much, you may want to take a peek at the collection. All of the pieces are hugely versatile and finished in mostly neutral colors (if you count cornflower blue and sage green as neutrals, which we do), so whether you decide to totally redo your space or simply replace some of your tired, old home goods, Beautiful's new collection will get the job done.
Let's start with our shopping editor's personal favorite piece in the living room collection, the Contempo side table, which, if you ask us, is the perfect size for any living room—big or small. In fact, because it's round, it's easy to style. In more sprawling spaces, place it on one side of the sofa, as pictured, and in smaller living rooms, tuck it between two lounge chairs.
It's not a living room without a sofa, right? Barrymore certainly thinks so! That's why she designed this heavy-duty sectional finished in a stain-treated fabric upholstery. Did we mention that there's a moveable ottoman that you can place on either end? We'd argue that's the best part!
If your entryway allows for it in terms of square footage, a minimalist bench is a must. Whether you take a seat before putting your shoes on or while waiting for your Uber, it definitely makes the mundane things more stylish.
With removable overstuffed cushions, this accent chair is as cozy as it looks. Get it in cream or cornflower blue, two options that instantly dress up any living room. Personally, we're leaning towards the cream because it's a bit easier to style. Luckily, the pale neutral pairs well with pretty much any other color, so feel free to go nuts with throw blankets.
Here's another side table we love. Barrymore decided to take a totally different direction with this one than she did with the previous one. From the material to the open space beneath the surface, this is a solid option for anyone with an affinity for classic wood furniture.
That said, the Contempo side table is so popular that Barrymore blew it up in size, giving us the matching coffee table. The speckled black marble finish works with so many styles and colors, but we're partial to the way it's styled here: with paler furniture and walls. It may not be solid marble, but it's definitely just as heavy, weighing a whopping 50 pounds.
A TV stand with storage to hide all of the wires and cable boxes (not to mention throw blankets and snack bowls) is an essential piece of living room furniture. This one can support a screen up to 70-inches wide.
This large round coffee table is the perfect spot to set up the deck of cards for game night. The elegant caned details are protected by a durable tempered glass top, so there's no need to worry about heated Monopoly nights ripping the delicate woven rattan.
