Luxury alarm clocks like the Loftie have been taking over social media, and at first, I dismissed them as biohack hype. But after about a year of using this, I'm never buying a budget alarm clock again. It truly keeps the phone out of the bedroom, and it's easy to control. The most useful feature is the Bed Signal: every night at a time I specify, it'll play a three-minute calming chime to tell my brain it's time for bed, followed by a customized nighttime medley. (I chose a jazz standard and chimes over a wintry day.) The whole thing plays for about an hour, giving my brain time to slowly lull into sleep. It's added the most peace to my nighttime routine.
If you need to know how much I love this pillow, know that I just bought a travel-size version of it to fly home with for the holidays. I can't fall asleep on most lofty, down-filled pillows, but many memory foam ones are too spongy. This is my happy medium, and I recommend it to every side sleeper. The divot in the center perfectly cradles my head, so there's no need to bunch it under my shoulder until I find the right angle.

This isn't the first lavender pillow mist I've ever tested, but it is the best one. A mist that smells too artificial (more like disinfectant than a soothing lavender field) will keep me up. The cypress and sage notes ground it in something earthy and calming. This one almost melts into the pillow, and it's an easy refresh of any old linens. (And yes, I put it into a travel spray bottle for extra peace in hotel rooms.)

Yes, light bulbs are part of my sleep arsenal. These smart bulbs are in my two-bedroom lamps, and they're so easy to customize to my liking. I can find the exact color temperature I want, from a warm white for reading to a candle-inspired orange glow come bedtime. There's no blue light keeping my brain wired, and I have the lamps grouped together, so I turn them all off with one switch. I can even schedule the lights to turn on automatically at sunset, so there's no gloom in my apartment during the winter.
This is the true MVP of my sleep accessory lineup. If you only had to take away one thing from this list, make it this weighted eye mask. It truly blocks out all light—no tiny slivers escaping in by your nose. And it's a soft, heavy clay that feels more like a spa treatment than a beanbag. I bring it on road trips, on planes, to hotels, and I reach for it every night before bed. I keep other silk eye masks available for guests, but this is the one I save for myself.

My bedroom is the most plant-filled zone of my house, and most of those plants are tropical. They need humidity to make the air less stale, and it turns out, so did I. Not only does this help my air-purifying plants do their job better, but it helps me breathe better at night (something that's crucial with a deviated septum). It gives out a quiet, cool mist, it shuts itself off at night, and I wake up to happy, thriving plants.

I'm not much of a flat sheet person, so the top layer of my bed is the most important bedding purchase I make. I'm pretty anti-duvet (I can't stand the bunching), so this was a major upgrade on my budget comfort. The box-stitching added texture and ensured that all the filling stayed evenly distributed throughout the quilt. Plus, it's both breathable and cozy, keeping me from overheating at night.
