Stacey Solomon will present Channel 4's brand new DIY show, Bricking It.

The new series, set to air later this year, will see the Loose Women presenter roll up her sleeves and step in where bad builders have left off. From brick laying to basic plumbing skills, each episode will follow Stacey as she helps homeowners transform their space on a budget.

Expect to see big builds, smaller passion projects, and Stacey challenge herself to master new DIY tasks. There will also be lots of helpful makeover tips you can steal for your own home, too.

Speaking about the show, the Tap to Tidy author says: 'From an early age, my dad taught me DIY and the importance of fixing things yourself where you can. I still find it so satisfying to build or repair around the house and it saves loads of money.'

Bricking It will be produced by Hello Sunshine — Reese Witherspoon's production company, who is also an executive producer on the show. This will be Hello Sunshine's first UK series.

Stacey adds: 'I am beyond excited to work with Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine on their first ever UK project. They are all about empowering women, and what could be more empowering than a power tool?! It's a dream come true to share my DIY hacks with everyone at home.'

Senior Commissioning Editor, Clemency Green, adds: 'Stacey has a natural talent for making a house a home. She is perfectly placed to show all of us that with a few clever tips we can all have a go at DIY and make our homes beautiful on a budget.'

Bricking It is coming soon to Channel 4.
