The Great British Bake Off is adored for its magical cake creations, beloved national treasure judges and themed challenges. But Bake Off wouldn't be Bake Off without its innuendos.
Ever since it burst onto screens in 2010, the innuendos came in thick and fast (ahem). Some of them appeared to be deliberate and then others, often from Mary Berry, appeared to be purely – but, brilliantly – unintentional.
There were fears the innuendos would slow when Mel and Sue left the programme as it moved from the BBC to Channel 4. Luckily, they didn't disappear.
As the new series is set to air, we take a look at the ones that have had us giggling away for the past eight series.
The original Bake Off innuendo was regularly used by Berry to describe a pie or tart that wasn't quite cooked through on the base.
After Berry's departure, Prue arrived and conjured a perhaps worse term: The sweaty bottom.
Luckily, the new GBBO cast did not disappoint when it came to innuendos.
