Swedish phrase 'Lagom är bäst', meaning 'the right amount is best', is what Ikea believe is the key to sustainable living.

The home furnishings retail giant currently sell an extensive range of sustainably sourced, renewable products to help customers lead a more sustainable lifestyle.

'Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Ikea and our ambition is to inspire and enable more people to live a better everyday life within the limits of the planet,' says Hege Sæbjørnsen, Ikea UK & Ireland's Country Sustainability Manager. 'A few simple tweaks and changes is all it takes to create an inviting, renewable, eco-friendly living space.

'Limiting food waste, going plastic free and growing your own plants are just a few ways to make your lifestyle more sustainable.'

We already know that the smallest change can have the biggest impact, but where to start? Ikea has highlighted nine products, to be used around the home, that will help you on your sustainability journey.
