A modern Beverly Hills mansion, previously owned by Friends star Jennifer Aniston and actor Brad Pitt when they were married, is on the market again for a $44.5 million.
The former A-Lister couple owned the sprawling home from 2001 to 2006, moving out just after their five-year marriage ended.
Known for its chic French Normandy Revival-style, the 11,173-square-foot home has dreamy canyon views, a smart hotel-like pool, a meandering stoned patio, multiple fireplaces, an outdoor living room and even an outdoor bedroom (perfect if sleeping under the stars is on your bucket list).
The home was originally built in 1934 for the American actor Fredric March — and was one of the first movie-star homes in Hollywood.
Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, the then-couple purchased the property after they married in 2001 and began renovation work on it right away. An eye for the finer things in life, Jennifer and Brad replaced the kitchen floor with marble, designed and installed a pub sourced from a 200-year-old French château, and added a private screening room.
In January 2005, Brad and Jennifer announced their separation and the home was thereby sold in 2006 to a hedge fund executive who completed the renovation.
In true Hollywood style, you enter the property though private gates – privacy is at the heart of Jen and Brad's former home, as towering plants provide a place of secrecy.
