Channel 4 is to broadcast Location, Location, Location: 20 Years in the Making — a special 18-part series celebrating the much-loved property programme's 20th anniversary.

Presented by Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, Location, Location, Location first launched back in 2000 to help house hunters across the UK find their perfect home. Over the years, we've been hooked on the dream properties, buyer journeys, and Kirstie and Phil's humour, too.

Now this new series will bring together over two decades worth of memorable moments from the show.

Edited remotely, each 60-minute episode will explore a specific theme, including first-time buyer queries, million-pound homes and the best time to buy a property.

There will also be new statistics and discussions around how the property market has changed throughout the years. Much like the Location, Location, Location episodes themselves, the anniversary series will be jam-packed with beautiful properties, tricky searches and plenty of fun.

Mark Downie, Creative Director of IWC, said: 'Over the last 20 years, on Phil and Kirstie's watch, property became a British national obsession. This new series offers their peerless perspective on how, over two decades, the dips and swoops of the property market have transformed Britain and by extension changed the lives of every one of us.'

Filming of the next Location, Location, Location series has been paused in line with the government's current social distancing and lockdown measures. Once it is safe to do so, the team will resume filming.

Are you looking to move house in the near future? Kirstie and Phil are also on the hunt for people to take part in the new series. If you're a chain-free buyer, then apply here.
