By the end of Selling Sunset season three, Oppenheim Group agent Davina Potratz hadn’t managed to find a successful buyer for the $75 million (£57 million) house listing. Throughout the Netflix series we saw homeowner and property developer, Adnan Sen, appear frustrated that his house was still on the market. But, seeing as the series was filmed last year, has Davina managed to sell the luxury mega mansion post-filming?
The listing for the Coldwater Canyon property in North Beverly Drive, Los Angeles, is still live on the real estate company's website, so that means it hasn't been sold yet. Davina would earn almost two million dollars in commission if she closed the deal, but she recently revealed that there could in fact be a new buyer; a client of fellow agent Maya Vander.
'This is brand new information,' Davina told E! 'So, Maya actually has an interested client, who's seriously considering it... I'm very hopeful that we'll get an offer from Maya's client. That would be so fabulous!'
Davina previously told the Metro that Adnan is 'open to negotiating', whilst revealing that he has also showed her another property in his portfolio for $39 million (£29 million).
Adnan's sprawling seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom property sits on over one acre of land and is made for entertaining and luxury living. There's a chef’s kitchen, state-of-the-art cinema and gym, wine cellar and his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes. There's also an outdoor kitchen and one of Beverly Hills' biggest pools, plus a separate guesthouse with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Davina landed the listing during season two – the biggest in the book for The Oppenheim Group – but it hasn’t been a smooth ride. The Oppenheim Group owner and broker, Jason Oppenheim, wasn’t initially convinced and felt it was overpriced, whilst Adnan grilled Davina and put pressure on her to bring in prospective buyers. Due to the amount of work he put into renovating the property, Adnan remained adamant that he would not lower the price and gave Davina a three-month deadline to sell it.
By season three, Davina enlisted the help of fellow agent Christine Quinn, but that didn’t turn out too well following miscommunication between the two agents. Adnan said he felt the property might be 'too big' for Davina, told her that she was 'making excuses', and reminded the property agent that each day the house remains on the market, it was costing him a fortune.
Later on, after some back and forth and a heated discussion over the property still sitting on the market, Jason told Davina that she should abandon the 'embarrassing' listing, as it could damage her reputation and that of the Oppenheim Group if it fails to sell.
With Davina now confirming that there is new interest in the mega mansion, we’ll just have to wait until Selling Sunset season four (we hope, although it's yet to be officially confirmed by Netflix) to see how Davina fares with the lavish property.
One thing is for certain though, it turns out Davina has a good working relationship with Adnan, even though viewers may think otherwise when watching them on screen.
