Lidl has announced it will be selling its popular British-grown Christmas trees again, with prices starting from just £17.99.
With just one month to go, customers can expect to find classics such as the Large Fresh Cut Non-Drop Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree (£24.99), an affordable Fresh Cut Non-Drop Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree (£17.99) and the Pot-Grown Nordman Fir Christmas Tree (£18.99), which comes in a beautifully festive red or gold pot.
New for this year, there's also a beautiful festive wreath (£9.99) to help you create a truly festive outdoor feel. It has a gorgeous silver bow on the front, plus is adorn with dried pinecones, cinnamon sticks and small silver baubles.
The German supermarket has sourced all of its trees from both the Berkshire forests and the Scottish Highlands, so you will be sure to find sustainable and 100 per cent British trees. With many trees being imported from other European countries, Lidl's dedication to ensure theirs are British is welcomed by all.
It's also worth knowing that all of Lidl's trees have been approved with LEAF certification, meaning that customers can check exactly where their tree has come from to ensure it has been grown sustainably in the UK.
'The producers are recognised for growing their products in an environmentally sustainable fashion, with due consideration and care for the surrounding countryside and wildlife,' Lidl said last year.
'We’ve chosen a variety known for the strength of its needles, meaning they stand up to family decorating (and even the odd tussle over who gets to put the star on top) while saving on shedding and hoovering.'
