It's no surprise that Dick and Angel Strawbridge's Escape to the Chateau scooped the top spot, as their much-loved show has captivated the nation since day one.

BBC One's much-loved DIY series, DIY SOS, came fourth in the round-up, racking up an impressive 31 seasons over the last 22 years. Presented by Nick Knowles, each heartwarming episode follows the personal story of a deserving family who need help building their dream home.
One of our favourite episodes was the Children in Need Special back in November 2019, which saw Nick and the team embark on a truly challenging build for homeless young adults.
One of the first DIY TV shows of its kind to hit our screens, Changing Rooms has long been a hit with Brits around the country. The home improvement show, which will soon be returning to our screens in an exciting reboot, followed two couples swapping houses to each decorate one room. We can't wait to see what's in store this time around!

Coming in sixth place is Interior Design Masters — the show which follows new designers all looking for their big break in the fast-paced world of commercial interior design.
Series one was hosted by Fearne Cotton in 2019. The show is set to return in February 2021 for series two, with Alan Carr taking the reins as presenter, and former ELLE Decoration magazine Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Ogundehin, resuming her role as head judge. We can't wait!

The American reality TV show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, sees a team of designers, contractors and several hundreds of local workers race against the clock to rebuild an entire house from scratch in just seven days. Filled with plenty of tears and lots of laughter, we're not surprised it made the list.
Fun interior makeover show, 60 Minute Makeover, sees designers such as John Amabile, Alison Cork and Julia Kendell compete to transform four rooms of a house in just 60 minutes. While the show hasn't made an appearance since 2018 when Peter Andre presented it, it's still loved for its fast home makeovers as the team try to desperately beat the clock.
