Yeekee Chau has upcycled a standard metal frame table while simultaneously ticking off the metallics trend. You can copy this using Metallic Brilliant Finish spray paint (RRP: 400ml, £9.49) in bright gold, chrome or copper.

Cityscape Bliss blogger Tereza has cleverly upcycled a clip-on cord lamp, an old shelf bracket and some twine to install a light fixture.

Bring the Outdoors In

Blogger, Apartment Number Four, used Satin Finish Furniture Paint (RRP: 750ml, £19.99) in cotton and slate shades for her project. Create a clean white stand for plants and shrubbery to sit on which will help to lift the room, while the contrasting colours will make the greenery pop.

Reclaimed Jars

These reclaimed jars have been collected from the back of a cupboard and remade into gorgeous summer vases. Blogger Flossy Frills used Chalky Finish Furniture Paint (RRP: 750ml, £14.99) to give it a overhaul. If it's a simple craft project you're after, then this is a great upcycling starting point.
