While the online marketplace has a wealth of handmade, customizable items to shop from, their art selection can’t be beaten.
“Etsy can be extremely affordable. Whether you are an emerging collector, an art enthusiast, or someone looking to invest in artwork to enhance the personality and character of your space, Etsy is a great choice,” says Teri Henderson, Baltimore Beat Arts and Culture editor and independent art curator. The vast array of choices fits nearly any design dilemma you could have—and it's unlikely you'll encounter the same piece in someone else's home. “They offer a diverse range of original works and prints that would make valuable additions to any collection at various price points.”
We asked serious art collectors and interior designers where they score hidden gems on Etsy, and their responses have us immediately wanting to fill our carts and plan our next living room redo. Featuring everything from abstract and botanical paintings to portraits and handmade prints, here are some of the best places to buy art on Etsy.

I’m especially into colored patting right now, and this golden yellow is truly chef’s kiss.” She continues, “Second, its size works well in many spaces. Want to layer it on a bookshelf? Perfect. Need a pop of color on a nightstand? This piece is your guy. Third, it’s a fantastic price for original framed vintage art, and it even has some original artist and gallery details on the back, which add to its charm.”
