One last thing: remember to measure carefully when you’re buying a fridge. It’s not just about whether it’ll fit in that empty space in your basement or kitchen. Remember to leave clearance space for the doors to swing open and shut, and to allow full access to your drawers. And use me as a cautionary tale: my fridge actually opens in the wrong direction, making unloading groceries a real pain. So take that into account when you’re installing it.
