Sure, it might be the height of summer but in the interiors world, we're already looking ahead. This week, we've got our eye on John Lewis' new autumn/winter 2026 range in all its luxe-looking glory.

The collection is built around two leading styles: Scandi and Heritage. The former is a playful take on classic Scandinavian designs and is perfect for lovers of contemporary shapes, natural materials and fresh colour palettes.

The Heritage style is all about embracing tradition, richness and elegance at home. If you love craftsmanship, classic furniture and sophisticated textures, this is the one for you.

Take a look at the new collection below, including some of our favourite product picks...

Leaning retro

Last year, butter yellow emerged as one of spring/summer's biggest trends. Now, it's back for autumn and returning with a retro twist. If you're looking to give the butter look a try this season, we'd recommend starting with the Plissert Touch Lamp (£80) and building out from there.

This autumn/winter, John Lewis has been all about the curves – from gently rounded sofas to circular side tables. We're particularly loving this slate blue Dimple sofa (£2,599). It's a great way to make your home feel softer and cosier this autumn.

For a dining room that feels rich and warm but still has that Scandi flair, look no further than this sophisticated example from John Lewis. The secret lies in clever colour layering. From chartreuse placemats to an olive candle holder, the mix of tonal greens creates depth, while natural wood and soft neutrals keep the look calm, balanced and effortlessly Scandinavian.

Bedroom update

There's a misconception about Scandinavian design – namely that it doesn't contain that much colour. This playful blue, yellow and maroon bedroom will convince you otherwise.

Our hero piece of the lot has to be the large patterned rug (from £200). It's a great way to add colour to your floors in a low lift, cost-effective way.
