As an interiors editor, I regularly scour Argos – and the internet in general – for affordable sofas, interesting lighting and designer dupes, and at no other time am I more invested in my search than during Black Friday and Cyber Monday when the deals get even better.
And if you haven't shopped at Argos for a while, a word of advice from the House Beautiful styling team – overlook them at your peril. Ever since Argos linked up with high street design favourite, Habitat, they have had some of the best furniture and homeware deals out there. And coupled with their famously speedy delivery, it's a match made in heaven.
Below are my top Argos Black Friday and Cyber Monday picks for 2024, across furniture, lighting, storage and accessories with at least 20% off. Some of the highlights are the XL, 3-door drinks cabinet for £134, the stylist brass floor and table lamps, both half price, and the cushions, throws and bedspreads all under £14.
The Argos sale ends Wednesday 3rd December at midnight and pieces are going fast…

Habitat x Morris & Co. Merton Fabric 2 Seater Sofa
We loved the Habitat x Morris & Co. collection, so we're delighted that the Merton sofa is included in the Black Friday sale. This piece is a quintessential English country design, with classic cream upholstery and a solid oak frame.
Natural and neat. Crafted with a woven rattan design and designed to be stacked, displayed on shelves or neatly tucked away. And can you ever really have too much storage?
With its gentle round edges, high reclined back and sumptuous padding, this elegant accent chair is finished with black metal legs for a contemporary, lighter-than-air look, which makes it ideal for smaller spaces.
You can't go wrong with brushed brass lighting and this petite number (scroll further down for the matching floor lamp) would be perfect perched on a side table.
Fabulously fashioned for bedtime essentials. This bedside table is painted grey, inlaid with natural cane insets and finished with slim golden handles.
The Pandora ottoman bed is available in a choice of five colours – this slate grey is our favourite, but the cream comes a close second. The vertical stitching to the headboard is a subtle but elegant touch, and although it doesn't look hefty, its storage capacity is quite something.
Bobbin detailing has taken the design world by storm for its sweet, retro design influences. The navy blue finish feels contemporary, so this piece would be at home in a modern or traditional space.
If you like industrial interiors, this one's for you. This 3-door steel locker is super functional and hardy, and offers a brilliant pop of sage green.
This slim dressing table with a handy drawer made from solid pine has an interesting rattan detailing to the front. The whole range is quite fabulous (have a look at the wardrobe below).
This Chesterfield feels like the perfect option for homes that value a balance of old and new. Whilst the shape nods to tradition, the grey velvet feels light and contemporary.
The Elba coffee table is the perfect blend of retro and contemporary. With a subtle nod to the art-deco era, this impressive solid marble table with sleek brass legs feels elegant, yet effortless.
Essential for entertaining in the 50s, the art-deco-inspired mobile drinks trolley is once again a fashionable must have. This brushed gold tubular framed design blends practicality with luxury.
Another gem from the Habitat x Morris & Co. collab. A solid ashwood, hand-finished and painted bed frame with turned finials and shaped legs, and an upholstered linen-look backrest.
The wardrobe counterpart to the fabulous dressing table above. This piece has a solid pine frame with rattan detailing to the front and a spacious inside with 2 rails, a shelf and 2 deep drawers.
Golden, gleaming and glamourous. The polished conical base, opaque glass shade and luxe brass finish on this statement floor lamp belies its reasonable price tag.
