See photos of the memorial garden at Kensington Palace, where Diana lived for 15 years.

Kensington Palace has opened a garden to honour the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, 20 years after her death. It complements an exhibition of the princess' style currently on view at the palace.
The White Garden is inspired by memories of Diana's life, image and style, like the white Catherine Walker piece she dubbed the 'Elvis dress' that is currently on view at Kensington Palace's summer exhibition.
The late princess lived at Kensington Palace for 15 years and had a keen interest in the gardens. The newly reopened area, formerly called the Sunken Garden, marks the anniversary of her death in a car accident in Paris.
'She would stop and she would have a chat with the gardeners and comment on all their hard work,' head gardener Sean Harkin told the Evening Standard. 'There's gardeners who aren't here any more but remember, and told me stories, about when they were working here in the Sunken Garden. And they remember Princess Diana coming by and she would stop and she would admire the changing floral displays in the garden.'
The garden can be viewed from a public walkway at Kensington Palace.
