They have recommended a variety of plants that are suitable for creating your own low allergy, nearly sneeze-free garden. They either have low amounts of pollen or are pollinated by insects rather than by the wind.
As Squire's explain: 'If a flower is wind pollinated, the pollen is designed to be buoyant and it stays in the air a lot longer, which can cause hay fever symptoms including sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy watering eyes.'
These wonderfully scented, fast-growing white flowers are adorned with dark, glossy green leaves. This easy-to-grow shrub appears in spring, often followed by a second flush in autumn.
These tall-stemmed, dark-eyed, violet-tinged, deep blue flowers are gorgeous and would definitely make your garden look pretty, as well as sneeze-free. They also appear in a wide range of colours.
These striking, rounded, five-petalled flowers are set against fresh green foliage.
Flowering from June to August, and known for its distinctive foliage, the large, shiny, dark burgundy leaves makes an eye-catching front-of-border plant.
In late spring or early summer it produces mid-blue, fragrant flowers and narrow leaves.
These pretty two-lipped flowers grow on narrow dark green leaves, and are perfect for adding oomph to window boxes and pots.
