There’s more to Marks & Spencer’s Christmas range than mince pies, yule log and brandy butter. From 25 September, the supermarket’s festive drinks will arrive in stores and it’s not just the Jaffa Cake cocktail that has caught our attention.
With party season around the corner, here’s what’s new from M&S this year.
There are five fruity products to try in this cocktail range. Choose from the rum-based Jaffa Cake version, which sounds delightful, or the Spiced Apple Martini - an apple vodka with notes of cinnamon, vanilla pod and clove. Then there's the White Christmas cocktail, made with rum, vanilla and lemon flavouring, and the festive Mince Pie Martini. Finally, there's the Let It Sloe – a gin-based drink mixed with sloe berries, plums and orange peel. Each bottle will be available to buy online later this month

Made with cream from the Ballyrashane creamery in Northern Ireland, this is one for mince pie lovers. Expect to taste everything from the buttery pastry to the fruity mincemeat. Again, this sweet treat is best served over ice. Alternatively, it can be added to ice cream for a tasty festive dessert.

The fifth gin from M&S has been blended with spicy ginger, cardamom and cinnamon for a Christmassy twist on the classic dry spirit. Made in the Secret Herb Garden in Edinburgh, it’s perfect with an Indian tonic water and a peel of orange zest.
