However, the canister lids can vary in shape, so check they will slot into your chosen machine before stocking up. SodaStream’s ‘Quick Connect’ canisters aren’t compatible with all soda makers, for example, but the brand does have a gas cylinder exchange programme to boost its eco credentials.

Just like the Terra, it’s simple to use and quiet, and once again, we preferred upping the number of lever pulls for a longer-lasting fizz.
Made with by-products of the forestry industry, this soda maker boasts eco and style credentials in abundance.
It offered standout control over the drink’s bubbles, thanks to the press consistently injecting the same quantity of gas, but we do wish its fizz was longer lasting.
