Considering moving house this year? The best places to live in 2021 has been uncovered by the property experts at Good Move, with Cumbria, Devon and Cornwall, and Durham named among the best places in the UK.

In order to find the top spots for people to move to in 2021, Good Move analysed a range of important factors including population figures, crime rates, green space, house prices, Ofsted ratings and disposable income from counties and regions across the country.

Their findings discovered that Devon and Cornwall are the best places for low crime rate (46 per cent), Durham has the most affordable housing (27 per cent), and London has the best Ofsted rating for schools — perfect for parents looking to move. Other areas that made the list include West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Kent.

Whether you're on the hunt for a region with heaps of green space, or want somewhere to save money, the findings take into consideration all the important factors house hunters will consider.

'With the pandemic shifting what Brits are looking for in a property, with more and more people looking to move away from cities and into more rural spacious properties, we expect an even bigger influx of people looking to move in the New Year,' says Nima Ghasri, Director at Good Move.
