Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler, are the newest residents in the late Zaha Hadid's futuristic building on the High Line in New York City, the New York Post reports.
The couple, who sold their duplex at the prestigious 15 Central Park West last year, are reportedly 'renting a large terraced apartment on a high floor' in the West Chelsea building. Located at 520 West 28th Street, it was Hadid's first residential building in New York City and one of her last designs.
The building has 11 storeys with ceiling heights up to 10'7'' and a design with 21 interlaced floors and setback terraces. Hadid collaborated with the luxury Italian millworker Boffi on the bathrooms and kitchens, which are outfitted with Gaggenau appliances. A 'wellness level' has a 75-foot skylit saline pool and there's 'automated robotic parking and storage'.
Prices for the available residences in the condominium building—which was completed last month—range from $5,295,000 (£3.79 million) for a two-bedroom to $16 million (£11.44 million) for a 4,023-square-foot residence with a terrace. Scroll down for a look inside...
