The much-loved Emma Bridgewater, established in 1985, is a British design brand specialising in handmade and hand-decorated pottery, based in Stoke-on-Trent. And Russell Hobbs – established in 1952 – is one of the UK’s most recognisable and leading household brands, as well as inventors of the world’s first automatic kettle.
Together, both household names are well known for creating quality products made for the heart of the classic British home, which makes this the perfect partnership.
The ranges on sale include the 2-slice (£69.99) and 4-slice (£79.99) toasters, as well as 1.7L and 1.5L kettles (£79.99).
Emma Bridgewater has also created a limited-edition ½ pint mug to celebrate the collaboration. Retailing for £19.95, the design features a sponge pattern with kettles & teapots. It's a must-have!
‘We are thrilled to partner with Russell Hobbs, a company known for its quality and sturdiness, whose appliances are well-loved and hold an essential place in British kitchens,’ says Emma Bridgewater. ‘In making a lifetime’s worth of pots of tea, I’ve boiled water in an array of kettles, and it’s probably fair to say that the kettle I turn to most often is a reliable electric one made by Russell Hobbs. Of course, I do usually drink that tea out of an Emma Bridgewater mug.
‘It has been immensely rewarding to translate our classic pottery pattern designs onto kettles and toasters with Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade. I hope customers enjoy their breakfast toast and tea from these cheerful appliances.’
Dominic Lewis, Russell Hobbs Marketing Manager, teased that is more to come: 'The collaboration will mark the start of a new relationship with Emma Bridgewater, and a very exciting future for kitchen appliances to take pride of place in the heart of the home!'
The collection is available to buy from Emma Bridgewater shops, emmabridgewater.co.uk, and other select retailers, including:
