Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith has launched her first eponymous interiors brand, Paloma Home, born from her love of opulent glamour, retro bohemia and vintage style.
Inspired by the renovation of her London townhouse, the debut line features printed scatter cushions, leopard print seating, intricate chinoiserie print wallpaper, gorgeous blinds, and show-stopping bedding sets that will certainly wow overnight guests.
Starting from £21, shoppers can choose from 10 house prints, including Pouncing Tigers, Luxe Leopards, Oriental Leaves & Birds, Vintage Chinoiserie, and Monochrome Stripes. With a nod to the romantic noirs of acclaimed director Wong Kar-wai, there's certainly nothing low-key about the collection, with braiding, piping and ruffles adding intrigue to each item.
A self-confessed 'nester', Paloma wanted the range to reflect her lifelong fascination with design and thrifting — as well as intertwine pattern and play. Expect dark moody colours, a touch of bohemia, dash of femininity, and homage to the cinematic works of Wong Kar-wai.
'Home for me is a place where there is warmth, life, vibrancy and human touch,' explains Paloma.' Something truly "lived in". So much beauty emerges from chaos - and I hope to share this sentiment with Paloma Home.'
Speaking about her favourite items in the range, the singer explained the power of a simple cushion. 'Growing up we didn't always have a lot of money, but my mum did always prioritise investing in new cushion covers — and things felt brand new,' says Paloma. 'That's what I love about Paloma Home, you can have one piece and it changes a room - or you can embrace the whole collection, and it still works.'
The collection is available from Paloma Home from Monday 28th June, with prices starting from £21. Select upholstery will also be available in store at Sofology.
