Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are undeniable forces in the world of interior design. Blending vintage chic with Art Deco–influenced, wabi-sabi contemporary style, the designer duo has spent 12 years building both a marriage and a creative partnership that showcases their distinct personalities, talents, and tastes.
To celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary, Berkus took to Instagram, sharing a sentimental black-and-white reel from their wedding day—and fans can’t get enough.
One user writes: “Man, you guys made me cry. Happy Anniversary!” while another mused at the authenticity and candor of their relationship, commenting, “Beautiful souls,” among the flurry of anniversary sentiments and well wishes.
Brent and Berkus may have tied the knot in 2014, but their story goes back way further. They were initially linked through their professions, running in many of the same circles, attending the same parties, and keeping the same contacts. In fact, it was at fashion designer Rachel Zoe’s birthday party that the pair finally connected. That party conversation led to an antique shopping date (so on-brand) and the rest is history.
In their time together, the vintage expert and Queer Eye star have costarred alongside one another, hosting TLC’s Nate & Jeremiah by Design and Nate & Jeremiah Home Project on HGTV. And while he’s long left the bachelor life behind, Berkus also recently returned to HGTV as a guest judge on Bachelor Mansion Takeover.
