To no one’s surprise, Jenny Marrs has a beautiful home. The Fixer to Fabulous star has spent nearly fifteen years in the design and decor space before finding HGTV fame, so we truly expected nothing less. Marrs regularly shares glimpses of her house via social media, and fans are always excited to see what the mid-south belle features in her own home.
Marrs recently posted to Instagram to show off her “favorite room,” and fans were ecstatic, as per usual. However, in her Instagram reel, Marrs revealed that the room’s new antique is actually not one rooted in the classic Americana charm she’s so well known for. Instead, she’s built the room around a memento from her time working on a “secret project” on the Italian coast.
The dark wood antique Italian armoire is a welcome addition to the couple’s sunroom, which is clad in white tongue-and-groove siding and washed red herringbone bricks that run throughout the walls and floors of the Marrs's home patio. Inside, she’s arranged a display of china, a fleet of wine glasses, and a sweet portrait of their beloved late rescue dog, Dolly.
The new (old) furniture piece captured the attention of Marrs’s over five hundred thousand followers, who were quick to hop in the comments to praise the piece. One user caught the Italian air, commenting, “ Veramente bello ❤️,” which loosely translates to “very beautiful” in English. Another followed suit, writing “Mobile antico dell'Italia ❤️” which means “antique Italian furniture.” While many mused at the classic piece, others found themselves captivated by the patio itself, which feels like a calling card for Marrs’ classic Americana style. One fan wrote, “Love that space, I would live out there,” while a UK-based user dreamt of having something similar in her home, commenting, “I wish in the UK we had porches like this! I love the brick floor, and it looks like such a relaxing space 😊.”
Honestly, we’re a little obsessed, too. Who wouldn’t love a gorgeous summer patio—and a little bit of Italian antique shopping along with it?
