"I really do like these sheets. This is my second set," one reviewer wrote. "The fabric is smooth and soft to touch without the crinkly paper sound of some percales. Yes, there is some minor wrinkling but I remove them from the dryer while still damp and either put them directly on the bed or fold them for later use. "I tested this Parachute sheet set, including the matching duvet cover, when the collection launched back in August 2023, and it has quickly become my favorite thing to sleep on, which is saying a lot because I have slept on many a sheet," Associate Shopping Editor Jessica Cherner explains. "If I had to describe what they feel like using bedding terms, I'd say it's somewhere between sateen and jersey: They're thin and airy like sateen, but they're unbelievably soft and do have that T-shirt feel to them. Parachute's brushed cotton is its Goldilocks fabric. It's soft and smooth like any of the best cotton bedding, but it's brushed and garment washed for a slightly textured, more lived-in finish than their crisp percale. Parachute's sateen sheets are made from 100 percent long-staple Egyptian cotton, but according to reviewers and House Beautiful editors, they feel like silk. "I got these when I first moved to New York almost seven years ago, and I have not noticed a difference in the quality after hundreds of washes," Cherner says. "As for the softness, they're like a crisp, smooth hotel set. They're not noticeably soft, but they do feel super luxurious."
