Cottagecore has been crowned TikTok's top interior trend for 2021, with 5.3 billion hashtags dedicated to the countryside trend on the video platform.
To inspire your next decorating project, GoCompare Home has analysed the most popular TikTok hashtags, looking at which we might see more of this year. While cottagecore scooped the top spot, mid-century modern followed closely behind, amassing 70.6 million hashtags.
Other interior trends to have on your radar include dried flowers (thanks to the rise of pampas grass), textured walls, Insta-worthy wall panelling, and pink bathrooms. As well as this, their findings also uncovered that pink is the most popular colour for bathrooms and kitchens, while subtle green is a go-to for living rooms and hallways.
