Some of the UK's best-known homeware brands have quietly set up shop on eBay, using outlet stores to sell everything from end-of-line and ex-display stock to refurbished bestsellers and brand-new pieces at genuinely worthwhile discounts.
Outlets are run by the brands themselves rather than third-party resellers, which means pieces are often sold with the manufacturer's guarantee still intact, with discounts reaching as much as 40 per cent.
We've scoured eBay for the furniture and homeware outlets most worth your time, from heritage names such as Ercol and Anglepoise, to the bed-in-a-box innovators.
1. Simba
Simba is the bed-in-a-box brand that pioneered the hybrid mattress, combining their patented micro springs with breathable Simbatex foam for their signature cloud-like feel.
The discounts in their eBay outlet reach up to 40 per cent off – beating their usual seasonal sales – on a range of brand new and refurbished mattresses, which have been carefully sterilised, restored and quality-checked by Simba's in-house experts, and come with their usual 200-night trial and a 10-year guarantee.
2. Graham & Green
Having originally opened in Notting Hill in 1974, Graham & Green is home to the unexpected, bold and joyful. They're known for their signature bone inlay and mother-of-pearl furniture, quirky animal-shaped lighting and globally sourced textiles.
Their eBay outlet is one of the best on the list, filled with solid wood furniture, patterned armchairs and an array of accessories. The heavily discounted quilts and rugs are the biggest bargains of all.

3. Worktop Express
If you've ever embarked on a kitchen renovation, Worktop Express is a name you've almost certainly come across. They're the UK's biggest online worktop specialist, offering a range of contemporary solid wood (oak, walnut, iroko, ash) and laminate worktops.
They offer a custom cutting service on their website, but their eBay outlet is geared towards fixed sizes with multi-buy discounts. They also run their own delivery fleet for next-day or named-day delivery, which is useful when you're trying to coordinate a kitchen fitter.

4. Anglepoise
The Anglepoise lamp has been a fixture in British homes since the 1930s – one famously sat on Roald Dahl's writing desk, and was so beloved that once the springs gave out, he tied it with a towel and sellotape rather than replace it.
Their eBay outlet is one of our best discoveries, and includes desk and bedside lamps, wall lights and floor lamps at 20 per cent off.
5. Ercol
A century-old British furniture maker founded by Italian designer Lucian Ercolani in 1920, Ercol is the name behind some of the most recognisable wooden furniture in the UK. Best known for its mid-century-inspired silhouettes in solid ash, elm, oak and beech, their pieces are very much designed to be handed down rather than replaced.
Their eBay outlet stocks a range of brand new tables, sideboards, spindle-back chairs and beds at up to 40 per cent off.
6. Christy
Christy has been making towels since 1850 – the players' towels you see on the Centre Court at Wimbledon are theirs – and have since added luxury bath sheets, bath robes and bedding to their range.
Their eBay outlet includes some of their bestsellers at up to 30 per cent off – and should be the first port of call for home movers who need to restock their bedroom and bathroom essentials.
7. ValueLights
ValueLights are the purveyors of stylish lighting at super affordable price points. Their range includes pendant lights, table and floor lamps, wall lights, rechargeable lamps and outdoor lighting, with a focus on the trend-led designs you might otherwise spot on Instagram for three times the price.
Their eBay outlet offers a 10 per cent discount across the board, but you'll have to dig through their more basic offering to find the gems.
