Design-led furniture brand Swoon has collaborated with kitchen manufacturer Harvey Jones for a swoon-worthy (excuse the pun) contemporary kitchen that injects playfulness and fun into the hub of the home.
The first launch, The Hove, marries the charm of heritage kitchens with modern design. The contemporary kitchen is available in two designs (reeded and smooth) and combines Swoon's clean lines and textures with the craftmanship of Harvey Jones.
Reeded features are a big kitchen trend for 2024, and this kitchen brings plenty of texture and delicate contrast with a subtle vertical pattern. Paired with softened profiles and exaggerated junctions, it creates a surface that invites touch and admiration.
It works particularly well with the peachy pink wall colour as seen here, and exudes that effortless quiet luxury aesthetic we yearn for – luxurious, inviting and calm.
Customised to suit individual tastes, there are eight harmonious colours in the palette, including inky blue Fairywren, sage green Lairig and grey-white Sirius. These colourways sit alongside four complementary worktops.
'This new collaboration with Harvey Jones is a perfect fit to introduce the Swoon aesthetic into kitchens – merging modern design with the undeniable charm of heritage kitchens,' says Debbie Williamson, co-founder of Swoon.
Swoon, founded in 2012, has a few collaborations under its belt. There are more than 100 pieces in the John Lewis & Partners + Swoon range including desks, sideboards, sofas, light fixtures and stoneware. You can also find two exclusive collections as part of the M&S X Swoon Furniture collaboration – the contemporary and elegant Odette and the mid century-inspired Figueroa.
