Classic design meets unique antique decor.

Have you heard of the French concept 'art de vivre'? It's essentially the art of living well, and it's something we can all apply to our interiors (without having to take a trip to Paris).
Instead of focusing on ever-changing homeware trends or the latest colour pairings, opt for high-quality materials, classic styles and charming antique finds. Parisian interiors add personality through quirky decor and classic patterns – a gilt mirror, for example, or a painting picked up from a vintage shop. And yes, car boot sales count, too.
Pair these items of intrigue with classic, dark wood (in both furniture and flooring) and whitewashed walls – et voilà – the look of a Parisian apartment in your own (not so French) home.
It's a look that's growing in popularity, too. According to Dayna Isom Johnson, the trend expert at Etsy, the past three months have seen a 119 per cent increase in searches for wall mirrors and a 96 per cent increase in searches for marble sinks. Plus, there's been a rise in searches for custom oil paintings (67 per cent) and ruffled duvet covers (44 per cent). Parisian interiors are having a moment!
