Two iconic brands unite to create heritage-inspired lighting.
Pooky has joined forces with Morris & Co for the second time, launching a new capsule collection of heritage-inspired lampshades.
The collection features four prints – Bower, Wallflower, Borage and Rambling Rose – inspired by those found in Emery Walker's house, in Hammersmith, London. Emery was a printer and typographer, and close friend of William Morris himself, so his home is full of original wallpapers and fabrics.
All four designs have been sympathetically recoloured by the team at Morris & Co to create a fresh new palette that works in modern homes. Made with the same technique that William Morris used to create many of his designs, each handmade piece has been designed to allow the prints to shine.

William Morris designed the Wallflower print in 1890. With graceful acanthus leaves and delicate wallflowers, the design is full of energy and life.
This pattern is inspired by the wallpaper that featured in Emery Walker's drawing room. Now modernised in this earthy Brick Dust shade, the print will bring warmth and cosiness to any space. It's also available in Blue and Thyme.
The Rambling Rose design is inspired by the English rose, a symbol of love and purity. The twisting, climbing rose pattern brings the charm of English gardens into your home, offering a warm, inviting glow.
Meanwhile, the on-trend scalloped empire shade is a quirky spin on the traditional lampshade, bringing a fun and contemporary element to this timeless pattern.
The Bower pattern evokes a pretty floral wonderland. The soft pink and green colourway is fresh and uplifting, and the pleated design brings extra oomph and depth.
This 18cm model is the smallest size available and is perfect for bedside tables or slimline console tables.
The Bower pattern takes on a different lease of life with this larger 40cm design in Herball and Weld — a muted yellow and green. The larger lampshade works to show off even more of the pattern, while the citrus colourway adds a zingy and uplifting feel.
The hand-block printed Borage pattern is lively and spirited with multiple axes of symmetry which create a mesmerising, focal-point lampshade.
This monochrome palette in inky blue and white is crisp and clean, adding a contemporary spin to a traditional pattern.
