A company called Mini in Flat devised a sheath dress resembling an old-school composition notebook so your trusty curbside skeleton can get ahead of the class. Made of a lightweight felt, the ensemble is soft to the touch, wear-resistant, and reusable so it’ll hold up for multiple years. There’s also a three-dimensional flap that’s supposed to mimic the pages inside a notebook. If you ask me, the composition notebook is certainly the cutest; however, Amazon also has a crayon and pencil version that could make the grade for some people.
Of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t address the elephant 12-foot-skeleton in the room: Making your Halloween decor part of your back-to-school setup is a choice. What’s next? A Santa costume for ‘ol Skelly? Maybe a Hawaiian shirt come summer? Believe it or not, both already exist.
It’s out-there, sure, but if you really, really love Halloween, maybe a change of clothes might be exactly what you need to keep the spooky season alive. Plus, for kids who are absolutely dreading hitting the books, this outfit might offer some welcomed comic relief. Best of all? It’s currently on sale for $21, which is a relatively small price for something that’ll make your kids smile.
