A historic Los Feliz estate owned by Angelina Jolie was listed for $29.85 million.

The property has ties to Hollywood legends, including Cecil B. DeMille and Charlie Chaplin.

The nearly two-acre Beaux-Arts estate features sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills, six bedrooms, multiple guest spaces, and well-preserved, Old Hollywood charm.

If a home’s walls could talk, what would they say? In the case of this estate in Los Angeles’s Los Feliz enclave—which is currently listed by Ernie Carswell of Sotheby’s International Realty Beverly Hills Brokerage as well as Jon Grauman with Resident Group—would probably tell you all about its star-studded tenants.

Though Sotheby’s International Realty is unable to confirm the identity of the seller, The Wall Street Journal reports Angelina Jolie purchased the property for $24.5 million in 2017 and just put it on the market for $29.85 million.

The Tomb Raider star might be space’s most recent owner, but she’s not the only famous one. Legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille bought the property in 1916, and his family maintained the grounds into the late 1980s.

During the 1920s, DeMille expanded the home and bought the neighboring Dodd residence, which was once owned by actor Charlie Chaplin. Rumor has it DeMille tapped architect Julia Morgan to build glass corridors that connect the Dodd residence with his B. Cooper Corbett-designed home.

Of course, this property has a lot more to offer than star power. Nestled on just under two acres of land—on the highest point within Laughlin Park, no less—this property is home to century-old trees as well as breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory. Whether you take in the surroundings from one of the home’s various terraces or the pristine pool, you can enjoy the California sunshine in style.

Though the property’s listing agents are not sharing much about the interiors, the Beaux-Arts style mansion is supposedly a time capsule of Hollywood’s Golden Age. The 11,000-square-foot mega-residence boasts six bedrooms and 10 full bathrooms, so there’s ample space to stretch out.

However, if you still needsome elbow room, there’s a guest cottage, a tea house, and even a pool house and fitness studio. Meanwhile, a separate garage with a security station will give high-profile homeowners some peace of mind.

Now comes the nearly 30 million dollar question: Who will scoop this property up? While only time will tell, here’s hoping it’s another A-List actor to keep the home’s Hollywood legacy alive.
